An Exciting Day at CIC Invitational Competition, May 18 2019
We had a really great time and it was a success at CIC Invitational Taekwondo Competition last Saturday. Everyone did a fantastic job despite how nervous everyone was. TKS swept gold medals in poomsae. Sparring turned out awesome too. Competing against someone you’ve never met is a challenge and is a unique experience you can only get in a competition. Breaking and speed kicking challenges were very exciting and we were all surprised to find out how good we all are! A great big round of applause to all the participants and parents who supported our young athletes.
Black Belt Degree Promotion Test on April 27, 2019
Black Belt degree promotion test will be on Saturday, April 27th 2019 at 5pm. All candidates will meet at dojang at 4pm for warm up and review.

As you are aware TKS has been doing a lot of volunteer services and leadership seminars with YKCA. Two of our students, Brandon Lee and Ingie Hwang has received Certificate of Recognition from District Supervisor Rutherford for doing over one hundred hours of volunteer services. Last year, two other students of Master Lee who now has moved on to college, Jonah Moon and Jett Shim, received presidential award for over 500 and 300 hours of volunteer services. We always look for more great opportunities for our students and we appreciate the efforts of all the parents for supporting their children. Without the parents’ support it would not be possible.

Awesome Day at Brea 8K
TKS Families had a great time at Brea 8K, running together for fitness and fun. It was an achievement of goals that were small for some but for some it was a mark of a great accompishment.
