Hello all TKS members! This is a notice to inform all students and parents that we will be closed this upcoming Monday, May 25, for Memorial Day Weekend. All classes will resume as scheduled starting Tuesday, May 26. We hope everyone has an enjoyable long weekend and we look forward to seeing you soon!

TKS Martial Arts will be holding a Kukkiwon black belt certificate test on Saturday May 16th at 3:00pm at the TKS Martial Arts Center.

There will be a black belt testing seminar on April 25, 2015 from 1:00-3:00pm. All students eligible for black belt must attend a black belt seminar, which will cover all the requirements and scoring breakdown for the test. In addition to the seminar, students must attend a total of three consecutive special classes on May 2,  and May 9 from 1:00-2:30pm. The special classes will review form, breaking, and sparring respectively, preparing students for their upcoming test. The seminar and practices are mandatory, so make sure not to skip these important classes

*(05/02)  1:00pm – 2:30pm  FORMS / BREAKINGS

*(05/09)  1:00pm – 2:30pm  FORMS / ONE STEP SPARRING / WRITTEN TEST

*(05/16)  3:00pm Dan (Degree) test

Our first promotion test for the new year will be on Thursday, March 26th and

Friday, March 27th

Here is the schedule for the upcoming test in March.

Thursday, March 26th:

White  : 4:00 pm ~ 5:00 pm

Yellow /  Blue  : 5:00 pm ~ 7:00 pm

Friday, March 27th:

Green / Red : 4:00 pm ~ 6:00 pm

Black (Credit Testing) : 6:00 pm ~ 8:00 pm

On Monday, February 16th, we will be closed for Presidents Day. Classes will resume as scheduled on Tuesday, February 17th. Thank you and enjoy the long weekend!

Attention all TKS students and parents. There will be no class this upcoming Monday, January 19th for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. All classes will resume as scheduled the following Tuesday, January 20th. Thank you and enjoy the 3 day weekend!

We will be starting new terms for the World Class Poomsae and Olympic Style Sparring classes January 2015. If you are interested or have any questions regarding these classes, please contact Master Lee.

1. December is an everyday month, which means all students can attend everyday  and anyday during this month to make up for holidays.

2. December 24th & 31st class schedules are modified per requests. Many parents request the morning classes instead of the regular classes.  Therefore we will offer only 2  morning classes on 12/24 and 12/31.  Please note that we will not have regular classes.

                   10:00 am – 10:45 am: All Belts
10:45 am – 11:30 am: All Belts

3. Winter Holidays: The dojang will be closed 12/25,26/2014 & 1/1,2/2015.

Testing will take place on December 19, 2014 from 4 pm – 6 pm. There will be a Christmas Banquet followed by testing, so we invite all students and family members to stay afterwards to celebrate the holidays together.
