During the 4th of July weekend, 7 TKS Martial Arts students traveled to San Jose to compete in the 2014 Junior Olympics. Each student qualified for the tournament by competing and placing in either poomsae, sparring, or both, at qualifier competitions earlier in the year. All competitors underwent strenuous training year round, but unfortunately, none were able to bring home any medals. However, their hard work and commitment did not go to waste, as competition training is a process. We are proud of our TKS Martial Arts members for competing in such a prestigious tournament, and congratulate them for an outstanding competition season. With this season behind us, we now look towards the future as we hope to do even better next season.
